ICA-Fluor Daniel de RL de C.V.
INNOVA was selected by ICA Fluor Daniel to design, supply and install the acoustic treatment for the compressor building at the Cantarell Nitrogen Project in Campeche, Mexico.
Four different noise reduction targets at the complexes’ boundary were achieved:
- North East Boundary: 35 dBA
- East Boundary: 33 dBA
- South Boundary 29 dBA
- West Boundary: 46 dBA
Noise sources included 4 electric-driven air compressors and 4 electric-driven nitrogen compressors.
For the compressor building, the largest on the complex at 610 ft. (186 m) long, 105 ft. (32 m) wide, and 84 ft. (25 m) high, INNOVA used 4 different acoustic assemblies to achieve the acoustical targets. INNOVA also designed and supplied fans and ventilation silencers to accommodate air flow of 1,100,000 cfm.
